30 Our last Queen's Birthday

Today our Queen abdicated
her eldest son became our King.
I've never met him, I did meet her.
Rolled up as one of the girls,
to dine at De Blauwe Stoep.
I think he will be a good monarch.
Ending 100 years reign of women.
The coronation, I haven't seen yet.
Her abdication we saw at Holland House.

A protocol to follow, reading it out, signatures,
posing and waving from the balcony.
Rule The Netherlands with an open mind
integrating all people, like your mother did.
Long live the King, hip hip hooray.

29 clothes bar

Taking out the roll containers
with the dehumidifier.
Elsewhere they
need to go.
The rotan bar is coming back
yonder on the side of the bed.
No more weathering,
inside where it used to be.
Now my clothes inside
the bar, some pillows down below.
Having space to put my cup

and a plate for breakfast.
Pippi has found a new spot.
Relaxing on my fleece
inside, able to see around.
Loud purring and then sleep.

28 for a laugh

This morning the sun was shining
while we were reading our books.
Early awake, but late out of bed.
New book to start, mine was getting
to halfway. A smile to think comedy
yelps would be on the cards again.
Eating wedges
in the sun.
Getting our tickets,
having a laugh club instead of
the comedy out West.
Humor is good it keeps you healthy.

A laugh a day keeps the Doctor away.
Prolific, spontaneous hard out
rolling on the floor
in your face hysteria.
Later this month and on telly tonight.

27 Alexanders birthday

Today is a our future king's birthday.
Wondering what his age is, 52 maybe?
Everyone in The Netherlands is preparing.
Now it is 3 days before the coronation.
The counting down has begun and
yes, orange is getting hold of the country
Some people will protest,
every now and then there are eruptions
vein crowds, against the monarchy.
Esa here is pro monarchy,
need to celebrate so going
to town, for an outrageous night.
Hooray for the king.

Alexander, from Monday the monarch
presents today from your family. A new
Royal to lead the nation.
Impossible task? Not if you have been
lead by a great example, Queen Beatrix.

26 move the chest of drawers

Time to change the bedroom.
With the television on the foot
end, it makes more sense.
Now I can finally walk
towards my bedside. Over a
year I needed to crawl over.
Seeing how time flies
initiative was necessary.
Xpansion of the entrance,
taking the door out
helped. The chest of drawers

are now accessible.
Resting further away
is making the viewing
less straining. Well done.

25 ANZAC day

Australia New Zealand Army Corps a day of remembrance,
New Zealanders get a day of to think about the fallen soldiers and civilians.
Zing was in the step of the young, some left under
age, wanting to go with their friends, pretending to be older.
Carried from the frontline, or left lost and never found.

Days, months and years the family waited for confirmation.
An unknown soldier, graves all over the world,
young or old, we will remember them.

24, I have started again

Today I begin again
working back and forward
engaging in poetry.
Necessary to fill in
the empty days.
Yesterday to follow
from now on every day in
order and
uniformly following
routine in
the days to come.
Hard as it is to

obtain different
facts.

All I want is write
poetry.
Reality based and
initiated by
lurking observation.
